We tend to take bathrooms for granted, until such times as it’s in disrepair for some reason and the plumber is indisposed. Conducting your “toilette” in the kitchen is awkward at best. How can you go out to make rain, slay dragons and capture the bacon to bring home, if you can’t even get a decent shower and/or a shave?

While solids are classic, very light colors like white and almond or very dark tiles in shades such as navy, black or chocolate brown will show any dirt or marks more easily. Another consideration is high-sheen tile, as it will show pet and people footprints in dulled relief.
